Phillip Doehle coordinates the Carpentries initiative at Oklahoma State University (OSU). He participated in OSU's inaugural workshop as a graduate student in 2015. After becoming staff with the university in 2016, he began coordinating volunteers and organizing Carpentries workshops. In 2019, Phillip became OSU’s Digital Services Librarian where he continues to coordinate the program is collaboration with other librarians.
