Dr. Stephen Welch is a Professor of Agronomy at Kansas State University. He is a computational biologist focusing on continuous-time computer simulation of plant genetic systems. More generally his lab seeks solutions to the genome-to-phenom problem in order to increase the genetic rate of gain in crops, especially wheat.
