Poster Design Guidelines
-
- Dimensions: your poster should be no more than 36" tall x 48" wide
- Font: Make sure that you use large enough font sizes that your poster is readable from at least 5 feet away
- You can find more guidance on poster design from the OSU Library
- Colors: For figures and images, use color palettes that are easily visible to those with color vision deficiencies such as colorblindness
- Additional guidance on colorblind-friendly color palettes
- Tool to verify the visibility of text colors on different colored backgrounds
- Test the accessibility of your color palette by uploading images or your full poster
Poster Printing

- OSU-Stillwater students can utilize the Library’s poster printing service
Poster Judging
-
- Student poster presenters will have their posters scored by a panel of judges. Judges will focus on the appearance and content of the posters, so students do not need to be present at their posters while judges are evaluating them.
