Citizen Science and Open Access to Water and Climate Data

Dr. Basara is an Associate Professor of Meteorology and Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science at the University of Oklahoma. He also serves as the Executive Associate Director of the Hydrology and Water Security program and leads the Climate Hydrology Ecosystems Weather (CHEWe) Research Group. His research activities include land-atmosphere interactions, (flash) drought, excessive precipitation and (flash) floods, urban meteorology, severe weather, instrumentation, and severe winter weather.
