To improve data-driven decision making across all departments, East Central University's Linscheid Library recently overhauled its data collection process. This journey has allowed us to view our statistics in context and easily maintain data collection long-term to better support research. In this session, we will demonstrate our methodology, including our procedures for data rationalization, techniques for raw data manipulation, and the standardization of statistical reporting. The presentation will include a discussion activity that encourages participants to reflect on the effectiveness of their annual report process and/or data collection methods.
