Student Spotlight Presentations | Predicting potential antivirals and druggable pockets in coronavirus Spike protein using molecular docking and sequence conservation analysis
Sydney studied chemistry and education at the University of Florida and graduated in 2017. She joined the Rajan Lab in January 2018 with a focus on molecular phylogeny approaches for analyzing the roles of proteins in pathogenic mechanisms and characterizing the substrate preferences of CRISPR-associated proteins. Sydney plans to teach at an undergraduate university after getting a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
