Identifying and disseminating scholarly activity using a campus-wide research information management system

Session Information

This presentation will describe insights gained by using a campus-wide research information management system at an academic health sciences center. OSU Center for Health Sciences debuted a campus-wide research information management system in the fall of 2018. The system provides a comprehensive public interface for disseminating information about research activities at the campus, college, academic department, and individual contributor levels. It includes research profiles for faculty, medical students, and graduate students. These profiles include directory information, research interests, publications, conference presentations, and links to Scopus and Google Scholar profiles. This publicly accessible research portal is used for student and faculty recruitment, program accreditation, as a platform for connecting with researchers worldwide, and for informing the public about research activities at OSU Center for Health Sciences.
